Description:

This plant employs a process using molecular sieve to purify air, and waste nitrogen backflow for expansion. After the dust and mechanical impurities are removed from the air in the filter, the air goes into air compressor to be compressed to the rated pressure. The air out of compressor enters into pre-cooling system to be cooled to a certain temperature of saturation state. The air going out of pre-cooling system enters one molecular sieve adsorber (such as MS1) to remove moisture and hydrocarbons like CO2 and C2H2 through molecular sieve. After going out of adsorber, the air enters into the main heat exchanger to reduce the temperature of air is gradually , when reaching the saturated temperature, it enters into the bottom of nitrogen column to follow rectification. The air goes up in the nitrogen column and is condensed continuously along with the increasing of nitrogen content, and then the product gaseous nitrogen is obtained at the top. The nitrogen gas extracted from the top goes into main heat exchanger to be rewarmed, then it is sent to user. Part liquid nitrogen returns back to nitrogen column as refluxed liquid to follow rectification, and evaporates gradually for the oxygen content increasing, by which the oxygen enriched liquid air is obtained at the bottom. The oxygen enriched liquid air is subcooled in the subcooler, and after being throttled, it enters condenser evaporator to be evaporated to oxygen enriched air, and then withdrawn from the top to main heat exchanger to be rewarmed, and then withdraw it from the middle of main heat exchanger to turbo expander for expansion and producing capacity. The expanded oxygen enriched air enters main heat exchanger for being rewarmed and then discharged out of cold box, part of which goes into electric heater, and then goes to another molecular sieve adsorber (such as MS2) as the regeneration gas for molecular sieve adsorber. And the rest will be vented.
